About Me

I bring a broad range of life and clinical experience to my work as a therapist. My path to this profession has been a personal evolution; after earning an A.B. and a Master of Architecture from Harvard University and practicing as an architect for 15 years, I found myself drawn toward a deeper exploration of my natural strengths. This led me away from the concrete world of design toward the abstract and profound world of human psychology, motivated by a desire for deeper interpersonal connection and the work that brings me true joy. Clinical Background & Training I earned my Psy.D. at William James College and have spent the last two decades developing a rigorous clinical foundation: • Massachusetts General Hospital: Served as a Harvard Fellow in clinical psychology for three years. • Massachusetts Institute for Psychoanalysis: Completed a two-year fellowship. • Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates: Completed advanced postdoctoral training. • Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP): Completed a year-long training as a Level 1 Clinician in this relational, emotion-focused approach designed to facilitate deep healing. • MAB Community Services: Served on the board supporting programs for individuals with special needs. Alongside my private practice, I have worked extensively in community health centers, providing psychotherapy to adults and supervising pre-licensed clinicians. This breadth of experience allows me to integrate psychodynamic insight with pragmatic, skills-based strategies to help clients process emotions and create lasting change. Outside of my clinical work, I am a lifelong reader of fiction and memoirs—stories that continually expand my understanding of the human experience. I stay grounded through quiet, mindful pursuits, whether hiking, cross-country skiing, or the slow, intentional process of cooking. .
